Pre-qualify now

Going solar may cost a lot less than you think. Here is how people usually pay for it.

We have every finance option under the sun.

The point of financing a solar system is simple: let the system pay for itself in the short run, and then you own it for life.

  • $0 downFinancing options that start the system without a deposit, so the saving begins before the spending does.
  • One year same as cashAn in-house option for people who expect to settle the balance within the year rather than carry it.
  • Banks and credit unionsLong term or short term, through the lender you prefer. We have arranged most combinations at some point.

This is not a credit application. We never ask for bank details, card numbers or a Social Security number on this website. The income range on this form is optional, and it is only there so we can point you at the finance options that fit. We talk you through them and hand you to the lender directly — nothing you enter here affects your credit.

Start here

Name and a number is enough. We will call you back and walk through what a system would cost and what it would produce.

The property

Not required. It just means the first call gets further.

Lenders ask for this to work out what you qualify for. A band is enough — we never need an exact figure, and you can leave it blank and still get a quote.

What actually decides the number

Two things: what the system costs, and what it produces. The second one is the part most people never get a straight answer about, and it is the part that decides whether the finance payment is smaller than the electric bill it replaces.

So before you think about terms, get the production forecast. Ours comes with a guarantee attached to it, which is a reasonable thing to insist on from anybody you are about to borrow money to pay.

Get the numbers first, then decide how to pay for them.
